1 Dead As Ethanol Tanker Collides With Tractor InMan Charred To Death, 5 Injured As Ethanol Tanker Collides With Tractor-Trolley In UP’s SitapurUttar Pradesh’s Sitapur

Sitapur: In a horrific incident, a man was charred to death and five others were injured after an ethanol filled tanker collided with a tractor trolley in Sitapur on Saturday night, reports news agency PTI. The incident took place near Muratpur village on the Biswan-Reusa road under the Rausa police station area. Superintendent of Police Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan said a tanker transporting ethanol from a sugar factory in Biswan to Gonda caught fire after it collided head-on with a tractor-trolley coming from the opposite direction.

There were five more people travelling in the tanker along with the driver.

The injured have been admitted to the district hospital.

According to reports, Pau Sardar, son Baldev Singh of Thangaon police station area, was going to sell paddy in a tractor trolley in Sitapur while the tanker was on its way to Gonda when both the vehicles collided head on.

Fire brigade personnel and other officers rushed to the spot and the fire was doused in an hour. While two of the injured were referred to King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, the others were admitted to the Sitapur district hospital, Chandrabhan said.
